We are pleased to announce that Sarah Hardy has been appointed as our new Chief Executive Officer and will commence in the role in late January 2018.
Sarah has spent the last four years as CEO of the Menzies Foundations and held leadership and management positions in the philanthropic and not-for-profit sectors for 28 years. She has strong commitment and sound relationships with a broad cross-section of the philanthropic, not-for-profit and community sectors across Victoria and Australia.
Previously Sarah held senior positions at The Myer Foundation, the Foundation for Young Australians, the Victorian local government, the Jean Hailes Foundation and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Originally trained as a Registered Nurse and Midwife, Sarah holds postgraduate qualifications in Adult Education and Training (University of Melbourne), Community Health (La Trobe University), Mental Health Sciences (University of Melbourne) and Business (Philanthropy and Not-for-Profit studies, QUT). Sarah completed the Executive Program for Philanthropic Leaders at Stanford University in 2008 and the Exponential Course in Fundraising at the Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University in 2017.
She is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Fundraising Institute of Australia.
